Horse Powered Leadership Certificate!
Boost resumes or scholarship applications and learn leadership skills with horses! This is a fun program packed with activities and horse experiences especially designed for teens aged 16-18. (Younger students may email us to register their interest for additional programming).
The programm combines elements of Positive Leadership, Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, 5 Roles of a Master Herder and Equine Connection Method.
Some of the topics we will tackle include: mutual respect, radical emotionality, recognizing your strengths and the strengths of others, how to motivate and lead with compassion, mindfulness, approaching difficult conversations and co-creating for success.
Participants will graduate with a Leadership Certificate and letter of reference which can be used to help with job applications and scholarship submissions.
The regular program is 6 weeks long with an additional 2 weeks for the optional advanced program.
We meet on Fridays from 1-330pm at our equestrian facility. (See below for exact dates).
Facilitator:
You will be facilitated by Juliana Brossolette, Stephanie Weiss-Quentell and three exceptional horses. These horses are one of the oldest breeds from the Iberian Peninsula. This ancient breed is known for its wisdom and intelligence. Our imported horses are unique and powerful; they are very special to work with.
Juliana Brossolette, BA
Juliana is the founder of Conscious Equine Connections and Five Roles Leadership. Mentored by industry pioneer, Linda Kohanov, Juliana brings 30 years of horse experience and a passion for Personal and Leadership development. She has hosted workshops and retreats all over the world for individuals, groups and corporations in the field of Equine Facilitated Learning. She is a certified coach with Equestrian Canada, a Reiki Master, Meditation and Master Herder Instructor. Juliana is dedicated to assisting her three horses to empower people through experiential learning.
Stephanie Weiss-Quentell:
Stephanie is a Professional of Positive Psychology, a certified holistic health instructor and an experienced coach for neurodiversity. She works with children, teens and adults both for corporations and schools and fosters well-being with the science of happiness and mindfulness practice. She is a founder of start-ups and worked over 20 years in the management and administration of profit and non-profit companies worldwide, where she gained deep insights in the sectors of educational administration, prenatal and family health, software development and media production. As a mother of 5 children she is trained in flexibility, openness, humour, team-work and stress-balancing. She has more than 15 years of horse experience (hobby) and spends many hours with her children in the soccer or riding arena.
Graduates of this program will have the option to mentor future younger students for additional experience and an enhanced letter of reference.
